Only persons with high fever, coughing accompanied by heavy breathing, considerably reduced condition and such, needs to be looked at by a doctor. The doctor will consider if f.e. antibiotics or admission to the hospital is needed. If you have a sore throat, runny nose or just not feel well, you should not contact your doctor, but stay home.

If you have symptoms of a serious respiratory infections and think that you have to be looked at by a doctor, CALL first to make an appointment. Do not show up without doing this. From Monday 16.03 we will have a designated room with its own entrance, staffed with a doctor wearing protective gear. You will be instructed on what to do by phone. Do not go inside, our staff will come get you. While inside do not touch anything. The scheduled meeting time will be at the end of office hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

We also ask our residents to cancel/postpone all doctor’s appointments for non-critical health issues.

It is important that this special arrangement for respiratory infections should not be used as a “shortcut” in order to be tested for the coronavirus. The arrangement is only for persons with high fever, coughing accompanied by heavy breathing and considerably reduced condition.

As the Prime Minister emphasized, we all have to make a national effort to prevent further spread of the coronavirus. This is especially important in order to protect the elderly, people with weakened immune systems and others that are particularly exposed to serious illnesses. We ask for patience and understanding from the residents of the municipality for the rather drastic measures we have to introduce.
